South Street condemned properties

A neighbor of 505 South Street said he's dealt with the blighted property for 15 years, citing raccoons, possums, and snakes, and asked the council to act now rather than extend again.

Representing the family that has owned the properties since the 1950s, she presented contractor estimates, said the homes can be rehabbed, denied the vermin claims, and asked for 180 days like other owners received.
